SUMMARY:Product 103: The How – Feasibility & Product Development
DESCRIPTION:Cap off your journey through the mHUB Discovery Workshop Series with our final installment: “THE HOW: Feasibility & Product Development.” This session is all about bringing your product to life, focusing on the people you’re building for and the standards that define success.  \nWorkshop Overview:  \nAcceptance Criteria: Learn to set clear, actionable standards for your product development. We’ll introduce the concept of Acceptance Criteria (AC) and how it translates business assumptions into functional requirements.  \nProduct Requirements Documentation (PRD): Transition from AC to the specifics of your product. Whether it’s design, materials, or technology, we’ll guide you through drafting a PRD that aligns with your business strategy.  \nJoin us for this hands-on workshop and master ‘THE HOW’ behind creating products that resonate with your customers and meet the highest standards of excellence.  \nAbout the Workshop Leaders \nMarcy Caron-Johnson, mHUB Entrepreneur in Residence – Product Management \nMarcy Capron-Johnson, mHUB Entrepreneur in Residence, is a Chicago-based entrepreneur, inventor, strategist, engineer, and designer sitting at the intersection of technology and the human condition. Marcy studied at the School of Visual Arts (SVA) and Northwestern University before founding Polymathic in 2010, a digital innovation consultancy that was the go-to technical co-founding team for 30+ Chicagoland startups; acquired by Tandem in 2017. \nFrom 2018-2022, Marcy served as Chief Product & Tech Officer at Equilibria (“EQ”), a women’s cannabis tech company she co-founded with Coco Meers, focused on personalized wellness routines for real outcomes. Marcy’s recent entrepreneurial endeavors have led her to founding Paprika, a medtech startup revolutionizing PAP treatment for patients with sleep apnea. \nMarcy joined mHUB as an Expert in Residence, Entrepreneurship & Product Management, in 2023. As with her own startups, Marcy evaluates all innovation projects agnostically through the lenses of software, hardtech, CPG, durables, softgoods, and/or service-design, resulting in a uniquely robust and differentiated model. Marcy looks at Product through the eyes of brand, pop culture, and user psychology. \nAmy Kamin, mHUB Founder Success Liason (consultant)  \nAre you connecting with your user? Do you want to solve their pain points before they become problems? Amy Kamin’s experience in product development, research, tech, marketing, and design is matched with her natural curiosity and enthusiasm for user experience, storytelling, data, and gamification, allowing her to help you build human-centered strategies for your business. \n
