In honor and recognition of Black History Month, celebrated in February, this month’s Empower Hour will feature BACP Chief Small Business Officer Lotika Pai chatting with Eric Williams, Owner of The Silver Room and Silver Room Design Lab. 

Founded in 1997 in Wicker Park, The Silver Room is currently located in Chicago’s historic Hyde Park neighborhood and intersects art, community, and culture.  The showroom experience curates unique goods and events. Recently, the Chicago institution expanded its footprint with the grand opening of Silver Room Design Lab located at 900 N. Michigan Ave. This new space focuses on limited edition items from Chicago artists and designers while inviting exploration of store art installations.
