Polsky Exchange Capital Access: Mona Ventures

Anny Dow, Co-Founder, Mona Ventures.

We will be joined by Andrew Leon Hanna and Anny Dow. They are the co-founders of Mona, a platform that helps small businesses access capital from mission-driven funders. Andrew is a professor at the UChicago Booth School of Business and author of 25 Million Sparks: The Untold Story of Refugee Entrepreneurs, a Financial Times Best Book of the Year. Anny is a former product leader focused on the intersection of technology and social impact at Headspace, Gusto, and Microsoft.

This series features presentations by capital providers and information about how to access different forms of capital. Each investor or lender will speak on:

• The types of businesses they fund and the funding they make available,

• What makes a successful ask for capital,

• Examples of success stories, and

• How to apply/pitch for funds.
